The opening chapters cover the scientific thinking on the anatomy, habits, and paleontology of trilobites in great detail. There are considerable and effective illustrations. Most of the book is dedicated to a lexicon of the wide variety of trilobites organized by locality. Almost all of the illustrations are high definition photographs. You can read to whatever level of detail you desire or just enjoy the pictures.
